We create innovative packaging solutions
that make it possible to replace the use of difficult-to-recycle metals while avoiding the combination of different materials to facilitate recycling. We seek to give greater
value to packaging waste in order to motivate recycling and achieve a cleaner world. The R&D of our innovative closure technology started back in 1997 when the co-founder José Luis Gomez visited the facilities of a cava producer (Villafranca del Penedés, Barcelona) and realised that this sector had a common problem: most of the sparkling wine bottles were
stained with rust when iron crown corks were used in high humidity conditions. It was then and there that he recognised the need of an efficient closure during the highly demanding conditions of the second fermentation of cava. International awards such as WorldStar and Liderpack were won at our initial development stages of our closures for sparkling wine production and expedition applications, which where previous developments to our current Twist & Pop closure system.
